Air Marshal RD Mathur, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, Indian Air Force visited Air Force Station, Pune today as a Chief Guest for the Valedictory Function of 50th Air Crew Course.
On arrival, he was received by the Air Officer Commanding, Air Commodore H Assudani. Group Captain MK Labroo, Commanding Officer of Technical Training Institute apprised him of the various technical training activities being conducted.
This milestone event marks over two decades of aircraft training by the SU-30 TETTRA School. The occasion is also very significant as the first woman fighter pilot passed out and now would fly the SU-30 MKI.
The Air Marshal addressed the graduates and shared his operational experiences. He met senior faculty members who briefed him on various aspects of technical training and innovations done by the School. In his interaction, the Air Marshal emphasized on the need to keep pace with evolving technologies and of the importance of maintaining proficiency in all roles. He lauded their focused efforts and exhorted them to keep performing their duties to the best of their abilities.
